What We Do
Our Mission and Vision:
The Pediatric Neuro-Oncology Platform was launched in October 2026 to guide families facing brain and nervous system tumors in childhood. Our main goal is to make complex medical processes easier to understand, answer the questions on your mind, and support you in navigating this delicate journey through informed steps.
The information you find on this platform is not a substitute for your physician’s treatment plan; rather, it is a bridge that helps make your dialogue with healthcare professionals more informed and constructive. We are here to help you overcome the challenges you face and go into clinical consultations well prepared.
Our Goals:
To make reliable, up-to-date information more accessible to families, we organize online seminars, Q&A sessions with specialists, and reviews of the international literature. Each month, through expert perspectives from different fields, we share the latest developments in pediatric neuro-oncology in clear, accessible language, standing by families and aiming to build a strong bond of community solidarity.
About Our Founder:

He then completed his residency in Pediatrics at Istanbul Faculty of Medicine and his specialty training in Pediatric Hematology and Oncology at Ankara University, Türkiye. He further strengthened his academic career with a PhD in Neuroscience from the Istanbul University Institute of Health Sciences. After successfully completing the U.S. medical degree equivalency process, Dr. Yilmaz completed a fellowship in Pediatric Neuro-Oncology at Nationwide Children’s Hospital, The Ohio State University, USA. In 2024, driven by the responsibility of holding the first official certification in this field in his country, he returned to Türkiye and began his clinical work with the guidance and support of his valued mentors.
